Agora journalists were recognised at Grand Press, the most prestigious journalistic award in Poland. Over a number of years, Agora journalists scooped multiple prizes in such categories as best press reportage, best interview and best investigative journalism.

Reporters Without Borders selected Tomasz Piątek, a reporter with Agora's Gazeta Wyborcza, as Journalist of the Year 2017 in recognition for his investigation into the Polish Minister of Defence’s alleged ties to Russia.

PRESSzvanie Awards (2017)

For four years in a row, Liga journalists scooped awards at the prestigious Ukrainian PRESSZVANIE Business Awards, which honour the best business journalists of the country.

Mail & Guardian journalists were recognized at the Vodacom Journalist of the Year awards, one of the highest accolades for South African journalists, in multiple categories including print feature, finance and young journalist.

For years in a row, Mail & Guardian journalists were honoured with prizes at the Sikuvile Journalism Awards, South Africa’s leading prize recognizing excellence in journalism. In 2019, Mail & Guardian's health journalism centre, Bhekisisa, won top features prize.

IMA Awards (2017)

For three years in a row, RTV 21 channel scooped prizes at the IMA Awards, a respected Albanian and Kosovar television awards ceremony whose winners are selected by public vote, in such categories as the best news program or the best presenter.

Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards (2017)

For years in a row, Scroll.in was recognized at Ramnath Goenka awards, a benchmark for excellence in Indian journalism in multiple categories, from on-the-spot reporting to reporting on politics and government. In 2019, Scroll's journalists won Ramnath Goenka award for environment series.

EU Awards for Investigative Journalism (2017)

Three years in a row, Vijesti’s journalists were recognized with prizes at the EU Awards for Investigative Journalism in Montenegro for their investigative stories related to abuse of power, corruption and organised crime.
