Agora, Poland

Grand Press (2014)

Agora journalists were recognised at Grand Press, the most prestigious journalistic award in Poland. Over a number of years, Agora journalists scooped multiple prizes in such categories as best press reportage, best interview and best investigative journalism.

World Summit Award (2014)

Colab.re was selected as one of the Top 5 m-Government and Participation Solutions at the World Summit Awards, a global contest and platform to select digital innovations tackling the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

El Búho, Peru

Information Hero (2014)

Mabel Cáceres, founder and editor-in-chief of El Búho, was named as one of 100 Information Heroes by Reporters Without Borders, a list honoring the work of journalists facing adverse circumstances around the globe.

The International Women's Media Foundation awarded Brankica Stankovic, editor-in-chief of Insajder, the Courage in Journalism Award recognizing women journalists who standout for extraordinary bravery.

Sikuvile Journalism Awards (2014)

For years in a row, Mail & Guardian journalists were honoured with prizes at the Sikuvile Journalism Awards, South Africa’s leading prize recognizing excellence in journalism. In 2019, Mail & Guardian's health journalism centre, Bhekisisa, won top features prize.

Malaysiakini, Malaysia

Putra Brand Awards (2014)

Malaysiakini was recognized as one of Malaysia’s favorite brands at the Putra Brand Awards 2015 in the Media and Networks category. It was also among top media brands in 2014 and in 2010.
