Every year, dozens of the news companies we work with are recognised nationally and internationally for their outstanding work. Here is a selection.

Agora, Poland

Grand Press (2013)

Agora journalists were recognised at Grand Press, the most prestigious journalistic award in Poland. Over a number of years, Agora journalists scooped multiple prizes in such categories as best press reportage, best interview and best investigative journalism.

Colab, Brazil

Best Urban App (2013)

Colab.re was voted the year's best urban app within the AppMyCity!, a worldwide contest of the New Cities Foundation recognizing the new mobile applications that make the biggest difference to urban life.

Himalmedia, Nepal

Poverty Reduction Journalism Award (2013)

Poverty Alleviation Fund honoured Prabhat Bhattarai, a journalist of a Nepali language Himal Khabarpatrika, with the award for his reporting on issues related to poverty alleviation.

Mail & Guardian, South Africa

Sikuvile Journalism Awards (2013)

For years in a row, Mail & Guardian journalists were honoured with prizes at the Sikuvile Journalism Awards, South Africa’s leading prize recognizing excellence in journalism. In 2019, Mail & Guardian's health journalism centre, Bhekisisa, won top features prize.

Vijesti, Montenegro

ISKRA Philanthropy Excellence Award (2013)

In recognition for her work with the daily Vijesti and TV Vijesti for the public good, Marijana Bojanic was named as winner of the ISKRA Philanthropy Excellence Award in the media category by the Montenegrin Fund for Active Citizenship (FAKT).
