Media Development Investment Fund has released the MDIF Impact Dashboard 2025, our latest annual analysis of our impact results. Published since 2005, the Dashboard tracks two levels of change: the impact of MDIF financing and strategic support on independent media clients and the impact of those clients on their communities. Impact on clients

MDIF provides loans, equity and strategic business advice to help clients build viable media businesses. Long-term performance data indicate strong signs of progress toward that goal.

  • Uncovering $45 million in medical procurement irregularities in South Africa, prompting multiple investigations.
  • Exposing misuse of public funds in Croatia, leading to a criminal investigation and resignation.
